Intermediate Garment Making Skills B

Maximum Class Size: 6 Students

Class Level: This class can follow on from our Essential Skills class or any Level 2 class and is suitable for those who are beginning to make their own garments andwould like to refine their skills. Intermediate Garment Making Skills A and B are partner classes and can be taken in any order.

Through a series of samplesmade incalico, you will learn a number of useful dressmaking techniques and finishes that youwill encounter on your garment making journey, helping you toprogress with confidence.

This class will cover:

• Fly front zip
• Bound seam
• Sleeve Placket
• Gathering
• Shirring

All materials and notions are supplied. A sewing machine and scissors will be allocated to you. Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring your own machine.

Booking a class at Ray Stitch entitles you to 10% off in store on the day of your workshop.

Our Cancellation Policy:Unfortunately our classes are non refundable. Due to our small class sizes it is also very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances.
In the event that we are forced to cancel a class, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable date.
